The Authority's mandate covers the entire nation and it's scope involves all income groups. Special care has been taken to develop an action plan covering the period 2009-2013. For immediate implementation the following locations are being considered:

  • Abesan 6 and 7, Lagos
  • Osogbo
  • Yenagoa
  • Nassarawa
  • Lokoja
  • Calabar
  • Katsina
  • Kaduna

Other investment opportunities include:

  1. Construction of FHA corporate Head Office in the Central Business District, Abuja;
  2. Reclamation of 1000 hectares of marshy land through sandfilling, at Festac Phase II, Lagos.
