Infrastructure

Estates developed by Federal Housing Authority come with standard infrastructure and utilities that provide the desired living environment.  Infrastructures provided include: well-paved access roads and parking lots; storm water drains and culverts; water supply and distribution network; Low Tension (LT) and High Tension(HT) power supply and distribution network, liquid and solid waste disposal systems, recreational facilities (parks and gardens) and sporting facilities.

The Authority is currently involved in estate development at the following locations.

  1. Gwarinpa II
    Gwarinpa II works through direct construction and Public Private Partnership in Team 7 and Kado Binko.

  2. Apo Hill, Abuja
     Construction of over 900 housing units just commenced with ground breaking in December 2009 at Apo Hill, Abuja through a  Public - Private Partnership arrangement.
  3. Owerri, Imo State
    Two estates are under development here on Public Private  Partnership with a total of 360 housing units to be realized.

  4. Abesan 13 Lagos
    Construction of block of flats through direct construction is about starting at Abesan 13, Lagos.  Over 300 three bedroom flats will be realized.
